What’s the difference between Free and Pro?
Free is the local dev playground — one site on your Mac, forever, no credit card. Pro unlocks production: multiple sites across dev and production, free SSL certificates, one-click import/export and backups, and ticket support. Enterprise adds a custom build and dedicated support on top of that.
Do I need a paid plan to run in production?
The dev playground is free forever and fully functional on your machine. You move to Pro the day you deploy a site to a production server — that’s when free SSL, production hosting, and support come in. Build and experiment for free; pay only when you ship.
What’s included in the Enterprise plan?
A Pete Panel built around your stack: a custom build (your cloud, on-prem, or air-gapped), custom installers and agentic workflows, SSO / LDAP login, white-labeling, and priority feature development — plus a dedicated Slack channel with a 1-hour response time during EST office hours. What does “agent-ready” mean?
Pete’s playgrounds are isolated Docker environments with real WP-CLI, file, and database access — everything an AI coding agent like Claude needs to work on a full copy of your site safely, with production never at risk. See Pete Panel + Claude for the full story.
How do I pay, and is checkout secure?
Checkout is handled securely through PayPal — pay with your PayPal balance or any major card, over an encrypted connection. Your payment details go straight to PayPal; we never see or store them.
When will I be billed?
Pro is a monthly subscription. Your payment method is charged immediately on purchase and then once a month on the same date until you cancel.
Can I cancel, and what happens if my plan lapses?
Cancel anytime from My Account. A lapsed subscription loses access to security upgrades, software improvements, and support — resubscribe whenever you’re ready to restore them.
